Starting with Kooltrak version 1.11.21 there are three "types" of program, Kooltrak Light, Standard and Professional.
Kooltrak Light is the same as Standard except it is restricted to displaying data from maximum 5 loggers. This is an "entry level" version of Kooltrak and will be used in the Intropak.
Kooltrak Standard contains all the features defined as standard from time to time, see information on version 1.11.21.
Kooltrak Professional contains support for all Standard features, plus network support, and automatic logger temperature correction from a calibration file. New features will be added to Kooltrak Professional from time to time, and then migrated to the standard version if appropriate.
Kooltrak Professional network support means that if a network of Kooltrak loggers is connected to the Kooltrak interface and the Read function called, all loggers will be read once in turn just as though they had been connected individually by hand. This does NOT provide real-time data like that provided by Koolprobe, but does mean that a large number of loggers can be read over a network from a fixed central computer without having to take a reader to the logger or the logger to the central system.
Kooltrak Professional logger temperature correction means that if logger calibration data is stored in a file and the calibration file is located in the Kooltrak calibration directory then when that logger is read its temperature readings will be corrected using the data from the file. The calibration file can contain any number of calibration points and a linear interpolation between points will be performed. If only a single point is present then all data will be shifted up or down by the correction that applies to that point. Loggers calibrated by Kooltrak will be supplied with the calibration data on floppy disc in the appropriate format. The file format will be supplied on request to Kooltrak Professional users so they may create their own calibration files.
