KOOLPAD data loggers can be read with a PocketPC palmtop computer .

Data is automatically transferred between the computer runing KOOLTRAK and the PocketPC palmtop running KOOLPAD using the palmtop docking cradle and MS-ActiveSync software.

KOOLTRAK software transfers a list of data loggers to be read to the palmtop, where it is displayed for operator guidance.

KOOLPAD   software displays an instant graph and information table when a logger is read.

KOOLPAD software transfers all information from data loggers back to KOOLTRAK , where it is processed and added into the database.

Here are two data-loggers-img showing KOOLPAD running on a PocketPC and displaying logger data. The left image shows key logger data in numeric form, while the right image shows graphical output of data from the same logger. The operator can immediately see if temperature limits have been exceeded, both in the numeric display and the graphical display. Notice that the graph display shows maximum measured temperature, minimum measured temperature, and the low and high temperature alarm points. Additional display formats are provided, and an alarm box with warning sounds notifies the operator if limits have been exceeded.

The data collection operation requires almost no operator input, just touch the data cable to each logger. An audible and visual signal indicates correct reading, or requests a retry if an error occured. As loggers are read they are removed from the list.
